WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE BROOKLYN QUEENS APA
NEW YORK CITY'S LARGEST POOL LEAGUE
I moved to NYC in 1992 and became an APA League Operator 10 years later. For the past 18 years I've worked to create an open and inculsive community around the sport of pool. The Brooklyn Queens APA believes in equality. We stand for diversity. Together with our Host Locations and APA members, we have created a community of people that reflects this great city we call home. It's the only place I have ever wanted to live. But what happened to George Floyd and the members of the Black community before him has also happened here, and elsewhere and we can never allow it to happen again. I look forward to a future where we all do our part to eliminate racism in all it's forms. I pledge to listen, and do my part because Black Lives Matter.

Day 143 without pool
Nothing much has changed. We are still thinking about all of you and miss seeing everyone! Hope you are doing well! We are in a waiting stage to see when bars / billiard halls will be allowed to operate NYC. Once we are given the green light we will formulate our game plan and get back to playing!
Until then, please be safe!
Brooklyn Queens APA Players Group
At this point we are hoping that when we are able to return to play, we will be finishing the remaining weeks in the Spring Session schedule and running our annual tournaments at the end of that time. The APA has moved WPC to the end of the year - of course all of these plans are predicated on NYC allowing us to do so and are subject to the circumstances at that time.
MAKE UP MATCH DEADLINE
TBD - based on when we are able to resume play
all paperwork for MUM due the day after you play your MUM
Any matches scheduled after the makeup match deadline must be played in advance of the deadline if they can't be played on their scheduled date. After The MUM deadline any matches that haven't been played in advance, must be played on their scheduled date or forfeited. Remember - If teams have agreed to play a makeup - no forfeits are awarded under any circumstances - please see the Local Bylaws.
Start planning you matches soon!
