WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE BROOKLYN QUEENS APA
NEW YORK CITY'S LARGEST POOL LEAGUE
TEXT US
917-589-5867
I moved to NYC in 1992 and became an APA League Operator 10 years later. For the past 18 years I've worked to create an open and inclusive community around the sport of pool. The Brooklyn Queens APA believes in equality. We stand for diversity. Together with our Host Locations and APA members, we have created a community of people that reflects this great city we call home. It's the only place I have ever wanted to live. But what happened to George Floyd and the members of the Black community before him has also happened here, and elsewhere and we can never allow it to happen again. I look forward to a future where we all do our part to eliminate racism in all it's forms. I pledge to listen, and do my part because Black Lives Matter.

Jan 7, 2021 update
Day 295 day
without pool
The APA announced the 2020 WPC that had previously been moved to Nov/Dec has now been moved to August 2021.
What does that mean for our Brooklyn Queens league? Once we resume play, we are looking to finish the 11 weeks of the Spring 2020 Session and qualify teams to our WQ. All of the previous teams that already qualified in Summer '19 and Fall' 19 will remain qualified (as long as they continue to play when we reopen). Then we will run our World Qualifiers for 2021 as we would normally do in June of 2021. This will all be nailed down once we know for sure when we are able to resume play. When will we be able to resume play? I know as much as any of you know. We are waiting for the New York State Liquor authority to allow bars and billiard halls to allow players to play on their tables and participate in league play. As of the time of this posting, this is not permitted. Once this restriction is lifted, we will formulate a game plan and reach out to all of our players to let you know what the plan is! Please stay safe and Happy Holidays!
