$30,000 BQAPA 8-BALL & 9-BALL WORLD QUALIFIERS WILL BE HELD
SAT - SUN JUNE 6-7

THE BILLIARD COMPANY
70-49 Austin Street
Forest Hills Queens

If you are driving, plan to get to these locations early as we don't know about the parking in these areas as this is all new to us.  Public transportation is easy for both locations.  We were blind sided with the closing of BQE as we heard about it 4 weeks ago and adjusted quickly.  These locations are fabulous with great top notch equipment.

All teams will be using their Spring 2026 Rosters when participating in the 2026 Brooklyn Queens World Qualifiers and / or Tri-Annuals.  These tournaments are technically an extension of the Spring Session.  This the same every year for all APA teams across the Nation, Canada and Japan.

Teams that advance to Vegas to play in the 2026 World Pool Championships will also be playing with their Spring 2026 Rosters in Vegas!  Your summer 2026 roster will have no effect on these tournaments or Vegas as the summer always marks the start of a brand new league year for the awards for 2026.  This means you can register for summer and change your roster and IT WILL NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON YOUR BQWQ or TRI-ANNUAL participation at all.

TRI-ANNUAL / WQ TEAM ELIGIBILITY - Normally teams must be active in the following session to be eligible in the upcomoing Tri-Annual.

For example:

  • At the end of the Summer Session, teams must already be registered and actively playing in the Fall Session to be eligible for the Summer Tri-Annal.
  • At the end of the Fall Session, teams must already be registered and actively playing in the Spring Session to be eligible for the Fall Tri-Annual.
This requirement exists because teams that win out Tri-Annuals have ongoing Qualified Team requirements in order to remain eligible moving forward.

However, since the Spring Session is the end of the league year, teams that qualify for the Spring Tri-Annual do NOT need to participate in the Summer Session in order to remain eligible for the Spring Tri-Annual itself.

The only think to keep in mind is this: if your team is not playing in the Summer Session and then wins a trip to Vegas at the BQWQ, the team would then need to be added to a Summer Schedule somewhere in the BQAPA and participate in the Summer Session in the format you won the trip to Vegas in order to be eligible for the Vegas trip.
