PLEASE NOTE

All teams will be using their Spring 2025 Rosters when participating in the 2025 Brooklyn Queens World Qualifiers and / or Tri Cups.  These tournaments are technically an extension of the Spring Session.  This the same every year for all APA teams across the Nation, Canada and Japan.  

Teams that advance to Vegas to play in the 2025 World Pool Championships will also be playing with their Spring 2025 Rosters in Vegas!  Your summer 2025 roster will have no effect on these tournaments or Vegas as the summer always marks the start of a brand new league year for the awards for 2026.  This means you can register for summer and change your roster and IT WILL NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON YOUR BQWQ or TRI CUP participation at all.

 WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL BE SENDING 5 TOTAL TEAMS TO VEGAS!  

• (3) 8-Ball Teams
• (2) 9-Ball Teams
  
  
  $8400 IN CASH WILL ALSO BE GIVEN OUT AT THE 8-BALL AND 9-BALL TRI CUPS COMBINED WHICH IS A RECORD! 

9-Ball Spring Tri Cup & 9Ball World Qualifier will be run on the same tournament board (THIS WILL MAKE MORE SENSE WHEN YOU SEE THE BOARD WITH MATCH TIMES THAT WE WILL POST BY THURSDAY MAY 31) - All Spring 9B Tri Cup Teams will play in the morning and some 9BWQ teams will play in the morning (based on a random draw.)  Whether you are a Spring 9B TRI Cup Team or a 9BWQ team - BE PREPARED TO PLAY SAT MORNING May 31.   All winning Spring Tri Cup 9B teams that win their Tri Cup match will win $400 and advance to the afternoon rounds which officially starts 9-Ball World Qualifier!  All afternoon winners will return to play Sunday June 1 for the Semis and the Finals! 




8-Ball Spring Tri Cup - This will be 2 rounds spread out over May 31 to June 1  due to table availability and played at the same time as our 9Ball Tri Cup and WQ.  We will post Tournament Boards with match times prior.  All teams that win both matches will win $400 and  advance to June 7-8 8Ball World Qualifiers

• All teams will play on 9 ft tables
• For all Tournament Dates BQE Billiards opens at 9AM for practice.  Tournament play will begin at 10AM sharp.
• At the mandatory WQ meeting on Friday  MAY 30 a properly completed team certification statement along with $60 in greens fees must be submitted.  

Fri May 30	6PM	Mandatory meeting for all teams in the World Qualfiers and Spring Tri Cup.  At least one team member must be present if your team has never participated in a BQAPA WQ.
Sat May 31	9AM	9Ball Spring Tri Cup first round 9Ball WQ - partial 1st round    8Ball Spring Tri Cup  - this tournament is going to be spread out over Sat / Sun and your team will only play twice max based on a Random Draw - based on table availability - Tournament boards wil be posted so you will know what day / time your team will be playing
