 • OUR LOCAL BY-LAWS MAY HAVE THE ANSWERS YOU SEEK •

•If there is an issue that isn't addressed in the Official Team Manual, or if a rule needs further clarification, there's a good chance that it is covered in our Local By-Laws.  The By-Laws are an addendum to the Official Team Manual and as such, are just as important to know as the national rules.  It is highly recommended that all members become familiar with the By-Laws.

•You can download the By-Laws on our website (click on the Rules Info, etc... link).  Check back often, as they are frequently updated.

•If you have an idea for an addition to our Local By-Laws, you can suggest them at the next Captains and Players meeting.

Bill: Kicking the balls around a cheap reception hall.  I was trying to hit them so hard they'd fly off the table, but I missed a lot.

PRIZE PACKAGES FOR 2009

Started in the summer of 2002, the Brooklyn-Queens APA is now the largest amateur pool league in all the 5 boroughs of New York City. We now give away more than $75,000 each year in total prizes from our prize fund which include free trips to Las Vegas for entire teams, trophies, patches and cash at some of our tournaments. As the league continues to grow, we will be growing our prize fund as well. In addition to trophies that we provide at the end of each session for all the division winners, we are pleased to announce our major prizes for 2009:

3 (three) 8-ball teams will win a free trip to Las Vegas for 6 days

2 (two) 9-ball team will win a free trip to Las Vegas for 5 days

2009 Best of the Rest Tournament will be no less than $5,000

2009 Captains Tournament will be no less than $2,000

2009 Tri-Cup Tournaments (3x per year following each Session) will be no less than $3,250
